Our version of the Orpheus and Eurydice

This is my group's performance or our version of Orpheus and Eurydice. My group consists of Karim, Francesca, Isabella, Noaf, Erietta and I.

I like the way we performed as the storyline was clear to the audience. We could Improve on our performance by projecting our voices more and making our body language show what we are feeling.

Our version of this greek myth was more modern. We replaced a greek setting with a modern setting and we replaced Orpheus with a more modern rapper child. The way Eurydice dies is more modern, as she dies in a group fight from being shot from a gun.

All in all, I think my group performed very well and I am proud of what we have come up with.

Here is my four sentences summarising the original myth:

1. Orpheus was the son of a muse mother and a muse father, he was very gifted in music.

2. Orpheus married a beautiful lady, Eurydice,  but she is then lured into a pit of snakes and falls in then dies!

3. He was determined to bring back his wife from the underworld, so he charmed the guards and got in.

4. He is told not to look back, but he cannot resist it, so he does and gets stuck inside the underworld, then gets killed!

THE END
