Reflection: How are the musical elements used to make the music relate to the Phantasmagoria?

We established the first piece which uses the piano as the base/main instrument and the thunder dome, drum and symbol as sound effects. The drum were the knocks on Francis' boat (from the story) and the thunder dome created a thunderous noise. We discovered the thunder dome worked really well because it was an accurate representation of thunder and made the story very spooky and set the scene.
